Forget The Hype, Here’s The Real Advice For Newbies

The missing puzzle to internet success is none other than getting into the ‘right’ market when a Newbie first started. At the same time, I do encourage anyone to go into the internet marketing niche because it’s such a lucrative market for you to make a lot of money but don’t do that until you really understand how internet marketing works and have success to display. The advice here is dead simple – if you’re a Newbie, get into an easy niche market by doing niche marketing and start make your first $1,000. Forget everything else, for now. Whether it’s selling a course teaching frogs to jump higher or how to fix a smiling face, doesn’t matter – what matters is getting it RIGHT first and get it moving. Then it’s so much easier to roll out more things once you know what you need to know to start making money online.

Scam Alert: Some Companies Are Charging Up To $2,000 Just To Register A Domain Name!

I didn’t believe this either, but… I’ve gotten a number of letters from companies who say they will “only” charge $1,000 to register our domain name! Unfortunately, some innocent people have accepted this ridiculous offer.

Clearly, this is a complete rip-off. And we’ve received even more offers to register domain names for “just” $300!

OK. So what should it cost to register a domain name? The short answer is that it should cost you between $15 and $75 (plus a fee to InterNIC – see below). Anything more is a rip-off.

Here’s why: There are two types of fees to register a domain name:

A fee to InterNIC (Internet Network Information Center — the group in charge of assigning domain names) and

A fee to the company doing the domain name registration for you.

1. InterNIC is in charge of registering domain names. Until September of this year (1995), there was no charge from InterNIC to register domain names. Therefore, if you knew how to fill out the appropriate form and submit it to InterNIC, you could register a domain name for free.

Prior to the registration fees from InterNIC, some people registered huge numbers of domain names. For example, there were individuals who tried to register the names of as many major corporations as they could, so they could later sell these domain names to these companies (when the companies realized that “their” domain names were not available).

On September 14, 1995, InterNIC announced that the fee for all new domain name registrations would be $100, which would include two years of registration. So, all new domain name registrations now cost a minimum of $100, the fee to InterNIC. (Update: The fee for Web Addresses registered on or after April 1, 1998, is US$70.00. New registrations are in effect for a two-year period.)

The fee for annual renewals (for both new and existing domains) is $50. Therefore, all domain names that were registered prior to September 14, 1995 (when the $100 registration fee was initiated) will owe an annual renewal fee of $50 on the anniversary of their initial registration. (Update: All domain names re-registered on or after April 1, 1998, are assessed a US$35.00 re-registration fee.)

On the Web: For more information, the Web address for InterNIC Registration Services is http://rs.internic.net/rs-internic.html. (Update: Network Solutions now handles the registration services: http://www.networksolutions.com/ )

2. Many people hire their ISP (Internet Service Provider) or a consultant to register their domain names for them.

The process of registering a domain name almost always involves these five steps:

Selecting a domain name to register
Finding out if this domain name is currently available
Selecting an ISP who will host the domain
Filling out the appropriate form to request the domain name (done by you or the ISP)
Submitting this form to InterNIC (done by the ISP).
A Useful Tip: It is now possible to use the Web to find out whether or not the domain name you’d like to register is available using WhoIs. This is a LOT more convenient than alternative ways to find out whether or not a domain name is available. But remember, the name may be assigned to someone else between when your application is submitted and when it is reviewed by InterNIC.

On the Web: Look at example information along with the instructions that are included as part of the Domain Name Registration Agreement to request a new domain name. Filling out and submitting the form is not difficult (however, it does require knowing what you’re doing).

A reasonable fee to pay to have your ISP (or a consultant) fill out and submit this form for you is between $15 and $75. Our ISP charges us $30 and does an excellent job. Paying much more for this is unnecessary.

This means that you will pay a total of $115 to $175 (including the $100 to InterNIC) to register your domain name. (at the time of original publication)

Note: This scam is about consultants who charge $2000 for ONLY registering a domain name. If your ISP starts talking about fees of $2000, they are probably giving you more domain services than you need. (The service most of you will want from your ISP is sometimes called a “domain alias,” and can be implemented for the prices we mentioned.)

Tip: Don’t worry if you’re not the technical or administrative contact (Questions 4 and 5 on the form) — that’s OK. Just be sure that Questions 3a to 3f are filled in with your company’s name and info. That way, you’ll own the domain name, not your ISP or consultant.

Idn – International Domain Names

What is an IDN?

IDN stands for Internationalized Domain Name, also known as multilingual domain names. It allows you the possibility to use more characters in domains names, besides letters and numbers. It uses characters available in other alphabets, like accents.

Example of IDN domains:

Chinese IDN – ??.com which means cancer
If you go to ??.com you will see the domain is targeted towards cancer but in English.

Romanian IDN – divor?.com you will see the domain is targeted towards divorce but in English.

Polish IDN – pieni?dz.com you will see the domain is targeted towards money/currency but in English.

Greek IDN – ??????.com you will see the domain is targeted bible/books but in English.

.cn with Chinese results: ??.cn you will see the domain is samples but in Chinese.

Al these are targeted through http://parkingsite.com and take 5 days to target once a keyword is given.

What browsers support IDN names today?

Only the latest version of Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox 2 support IDN Names directly entered into the browser.

IE6 and earlier versions will not support IDN’s.

What TLD’s or ccTLD’s support IDN?

First of all what I am saying with that question is what extensions can be registered like and IDN. Can I register??.com? ??.net? ??.org? ??.cn? ??.jp? and what others can I register.

Here is a list of the ones that I have registered:

.com
.net
.tv
.cc
.jp = Japan
.cn = China
.de = Germany
.gr = Greece
.tw = Taiwan

Do all Registrars support IDN registrations?

No, as of writing this Enom does and so does Domainsite. There are others that do but mot d not. Please check with your registrar BEFORE you register any or you will get stuck with a long name that has no value whosoever.

What IDN’s should you register?

You should use the same principles that you have learnt while registering English domain names. Go after the higher paying ppc terms first. Make sure if there are more than one way to say a word in any language that you get them all as you never know which ones will have the most traffic. I have registered quite a few dual meaning words and it’s never the one I think that has the most traffic.

??? ; ?? ; ??? all mean girl with slight variations in Chinese. In this case and such a major term, unless you speak the language, grab them all.

Google results for all of them:
??? – 1,870,000 results in Google
?? – 4,460,000 results in Google
??? – 2,840,000 results in Google

Most IDN’s with Google over 1 million will have some traffic unless you get ridiculous generic terms like ‘the’ which have no value whatsoever.

Also, as with English domains, dig a bit deeper. If loans is taken in the language you want go for things like home loans, car loans, boat loans and so on.

How to find and register IDN’s?

There are many ways to find and register IDN domain names. The best way is obviously if you speak the language but even then you must be careful. Just like in English some common words will not actually be used and a short form may be used. In English most people know the word automobile but rarely would use it. Most would use the word car.

This can be illustrated by the two overture scores:

1572 http://automobile.com

18016 http://car.com

Now this does not mean automobile is not a good IDN to register, it just means go after the one that is more likely to be typed in a browser.

Now if you don’t know anyone that speaks a language you are going after, your only choice is to use a good translator software, I suggest you use logos.it

When you enter a word it gives you results in multiple languages at one time and makes it really easy to get a keyword in multiple languages.

For example when you search for the word insurance you get:

English
insurance

Italian
assicurazione

Spanish
seguro ; aseguración

French
assurance

German
Versicherung

Russian
c??????????

Arabic
????? ; ???? ; ?????

Albanian
sigurim

Asturian

Brazilian Portuguese

Danish

Finnish

Flemish

Gujarati

Hebrew

Hindi

Hungarian

Indonesian

Irish

Marathi

Norwegian

Punjabi

Turkish

Ukrainian

Valencian

Venetian

Welsh

I have found that just like domains, the one I think will get the most traffic, surprisingly won’t, but the languages I have never heard of get some traffic.

Now let’s see how you go about registering IDN names:

Let’s go to logos.it and look up the Russian word for weasel as an example which is ?????, so now I go download the IDN Domain Conversion Tool then open it up and paste ????? into the space unde the heading IDN Domains and hit the ok button. You will get a code called a PUNY code which is: xn--80aa3ac5a , then take that and add a .com on it and you will end up with this http://xn--80aa3ac5a.com. Now check a whois or try to register http://xn--80aa3ac5a.com and see if you get it. To keep it organized and try to keep my domains in one place I register most of my IDN’s at Enom. There are other choices if you like. You can take the actual ID code and go to and type in the IDN and it will tell you if it’s available without doing the PUNY conversion but you should know how to do it anyways.

When I check now ?????.com is available.
In case you are wondering you cannot register ?????.ru yet as the Russian ccTLD does not support public IDN registrations yet.

If I find an IDN like ????? (xn--f9b5b1c6b7k) should I register .com or .cn or both?

This really depends on how strong the term is, if it’s a great term and you have the $, by all mans register them both. If you don’t my suggestion is get the .com. You will need to do some research here as every country operates differently. Some countries are big on their ccTLD’s while others go for the .com first and only if that’s taken will grab their ccTLD after that.

Personally, I have been registering the .com’s and if it’s a great term I get the ccTLD for that country if its available.

To learn more about IDN Names visit the Domain Name Forum where all the domain experts hang out and chat.

Are all the good IDN names taken?

Absolutely not, take your time and do some mining and you will find gold in them mountains.

Remember don’t expect miracles from IDN domains now, the miracles will come once most of the world has a browser that can support it.

Should you expect to make $ from your IDN’s now?

No, if you are lucky you will have a few that make something., I have registered thousands of these and at least half have traffic so that’s good enough for me to know the future will be great for these. Be patient they will be worth it in the long run.

Is there anything else I should know about IDN’s?

Yes, there is lots more, please take the time to learn about Domain Names and feel free to ask and post your questions as thre are many IDN experts there and they will usually answer you within a few minutes.

I hope this helps some of you get started in what should be an interesting area of domains

How To Pick A Domain

If you are reading this you might be close to setting up your first website ever or you can be a person with experience that is just curious to see if there are things that you might have missed. Whatever the case is I hope to be able to provide you with a few of the things that I personally feel are important when you are picking the right domain name for your new site.

I assume that you have already found the topic that you are going to be focusing on and therefore I will not go into any of the things that relates on how to find a profitable market online. The reason I say this is that I assume that you new site will somehow have a business related theme as a personal website with pictures of your family and stuff doesn’t need much consideration when choosing the domain name.

So let us get into the things that I strongly feel you would have great benefit from.

It is a know fact that more and more traffic (aka visitors to your site) comes from the search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN (which has now launched their new site called Live). So with this fact in mind you will need to find out how to get the best possible placement in the search engines so that people will come visit your site.

Most online marketers agree that from a SEO point of you the right keyword rich domain name can help your site rank better that if you are not using a keyword rich domain name. You might say that site like http://Nike.com, http://Amazon.com and http://Ebay.com doesn’t have keyword rich names and you are absolutely right.

However the difference between you and the great site is that they have much larger advertising budget than you have and therefore they can get away with having names that doesn’t make much sense. So if you are on a small budget I suggest that you go for the keyword rich domain name approach.

Choosing a keyword rich domain name does not mean that you will have to end up with a name that nobody will ever remember. That can be the case but it doesn’t have to be. Let us say that you are going to create a site that deals with pets. Maybe you want to sell pet toys and other accessories.

What I would do is to go to the site called: http://www.wordtracker.com/free-trial.html and sign up for the free trial. Once you have received the e-mail from WordTracker you would enter “pets” in the field.

You’ll see that the word “pet supplies” has a count of 2,000-2,500 visitors in a 90 day period. If you had paid for the full version of WordTracker (I strongly recommend that you do) you would have found that for the keyword phrase “pet toys and supplies” and that 145 people are searching for that particular phrase every day and that there are only 857 sites competing for that exact phrase.

Now that is great information and you can now use it for finding a domain name that will 1) Tell your visitors what it is that you do and 2) hold some really great keywords that you will want to target to rank in the search engines.

Everything You Wanted To Know About Expired Domain

Every day hundreds of domain names become expired and become owner-less due to some reasons. An expired domain that is useless for someone may become usable and beneficial for others! An expired domain can offer several unique advantages and benefits for the person who uses it. Right now, increasing numbers of people are flocking together to own expired domains just to create a huge wealth and unlimited profits out of them. Intelligent and smart entrepreneurs are also using an expired domain as a tool to expand their online business operations and functions.

What exactly is an expired domain? There are several explanations that define what an expired domain really is. However, in simple terms an expired domain is a domain, already used by its previous owner, but abandoned and left orphaned due to some unknown reasons. Similarly, an expired domain name is not used currently by anyone. It could also be termed as a domain that is quickly approaching its renewal date. In other words, it could also be termed as “soon to be expired” domain name, while a domain that is past its fixed renewal date without the renewal subscription fees paid out is termed “an expired domain”.

In real terms, an expired domain could be anything in its nature like:

• It could have been a well-developed web site in its previous avatar.
• It could have been a web site that was well promoted and advertised by the previous owner.
• It could have been a well placed web site in the most popular search engines.
• It could have also been actively linked to different web sites and directories.
• It could have also been associated with a number of business deals and partnerships.
• It could have also been the big compendium of plenty of reciprocal links attached to it.
• It could have also been a web site that changed several ownerships in the previous months.

A domain can become expired due to several reasons and factors like:

• Lack of cash resources to run and manage the web site
• Lack of required funds to renew the domain name
• Wrong and invalid email addresses that can result in bounced mails.
• The owner loosing interest in the web site itself.
• A domain can also expire as a result of business closures and shutdowns.
• Sheer lack of knowledge and ignorance about the real value of domains
• Unknowingly forgetting to renew the domain name.

The overall control or ownership or dominance of a particular web domain is granted only for a limited period of time of one to two years. However, the ownership also comes with certain critical riders like:

• The owner will follow the right and prescribed registration procedures
• The owner will pay the prescribed renewal fees on time and within the fixed deadline.

By chance, if the owner of the domain either declines or forgets to pay the prescribed renewal fees within the deadline, the said domain will soon expire and become an expired domain. Once a domain becomes expired, it will soon go back to the pool of unregistered domain names; eventually, such a domain will be announced for open sale or auction to the general public. Though, subscribers register their domain names for one or two years, it is also possible to retain the ownership of the domain name for a period of two years or more. For such a lengthy period of registration, one can avail a generous amount of discounts and rebates for the domain name of choice.

An expired domain could be your goldmine of excellent business opportunities and chances. One of the biggest benefits of owning or buying an expired domain name is its capacity to set up a source of constant income. If you are looking for a viable business opportunity or if you have been searching for increased web traffic or when you want to sell your domain for a sustained profit, then an expired domain could the timely answer!

Domain Forwarding Versus Domain Masking

Even though a lot of people now realize that the word domain refers to the address of a website, some do not understand other words or tech-jargon associated with the term domain. So here is a quick look at two popular terms that are associated with domains, in case you or someone you know could use some help.

Domain Forwarding & Masking

Domain forwarding helps with the directing of your site link to the address of another website. And domain forwarding is very helpful for websites that may have longer, more complex addresses as well as for advertising purposes; for example, to use a new domain like MarchSale2007(dot)com for directing traffic to a special sales web page.

The forwarding process is pretty simple. Begin by registering the new domain name of your choice that’s available. Next log into the domain area where you purchased your domain and click on the option to forward this new domain. A space should become available then where you simply insert the URL or domain name of the site where you want your visitors to be directed when they click the link.

Domain masking allows you to hide or protect the address of your website while still continuing to allow your prospects and clients to visit your site and access the contents there. Domain masking works in this manner:

- Register your domain name first. For example, register the domain name, TinyURL(dot)com or the domain of your choice. Then set up a forward as mentioned above and add masking to it by clicking the masking box in the control area and add masked description meta tag and masked keyword meta tag words to help direct search engines your way when people key in these terms for searches.

- Although TinyURL(dot)com will be the visual address for people who click on the link, it will not be the main Internet address of the website because the main address is too long with too many letters to list in print ads, for example, like MyDomainNameIsTooLong(dot)com. Therefore the masked domain address TinyURL(dot)com will be listed in emails, ads and other communications to direct Internet visitors to the site. And your website visitors need only key in the address TinyURL(dot)com to discover all the content of the main address at: MyDomainNameIsTooLong(dot)com on their computers.

Note that the main difference between domain forwarding and domain masking is that with domain forwarding, your site visitors will still see the original or actual domain name in their browser after they click the new domain link and get directed to the site. In other words, the new domain link does not hide the long original name. So when people click: TinyURL(dot)com, they are directed to the site, yet once they arrive at the site, the domain that appears in their browsers will read: MyDomainNameIsTooLong(dot)com.

Why would you prefer to place a mask over the original address rather than simply forward traffic to the site? In cases like this:

Some website addresses are very long, full of coding with numbers and letters that often may or may not make sense like: http://ThisIsYourAffiliateLinkabczyx12379_JohnSmith(dot)com . So to make the link easier to read and to look more professional, an Internet marketer may mask a short domain like http://JohnSmithNews(dot)com for two reasons (1) to hide the fact that it’s an affiliate link, causing some to be uneasy and leave the site right away and get in touch with the main seller instead and (2) to make the site appear more professional and memorable with a recognizable name as the address.

Domain Name: How Not To Loose One Before Buying It

Most online entrepreneurs dream of securing the next household domain name like google or yahoo. Now that is where the excitement starts.

Numerous articles have been devoted to this topic and every other day more and more individuals are rushing in with the hope and fantasy of registering and securing a name that will make it up to the front headlines of the news.

Domain name in the news.

You may already have heard that business.com was sold several years ago for a whopping $8 millions while AsSeenOnTv.com sold for $5.1 Millions. More recently Year2000.com received a bid for $10 on eBay which later turned out to be a hoax, but don’t be surprise if it ends up selling for a couple of millions.

Although the chance of pulling a sale like those mentioned above is slim, that simple fact has not been able to restrain and put a check to the number of people trying to buy and park a given name for speculative purposes.

Domain parking by online speculators:

Remember how you kept typing one name after another and all you kept getting is the sorry message that “the name was not available for registration.” Did you ever wonder why most of those weird names you thought of, were already registered by other individuals or companies?

Even worse still, for those of us who were naive enough, do you remember doing an online search for a cheap domain name registrar and then typing into their form one name after another trying to see if it was available?

Do you remember closing out of that browser window once you came up with a narrowed list of names that for some reasons you just wanted to give another thought about before finally settling on one?

Then a few hours or a day or two passed by and finally you made up that decision on your choice name. unfortunately to your horror, when you went back to the web site and typed in that chosen name, you got that rude shock that the name was now not available for registration.

To make matters worse you kept getting the same message when you tried the rest of the names in your narrowed list. You then sat there starring at your monitor and wondering what happened so fast within so little time.

The right way to check if your desired name is available.

There are a lot of domain name registrars out there who maintain a good and ethical business standard. Unfortunately a few of them, their resellers or an intrusion by a third party abuse and take advantage of the system for their own advantage.

In order to avoid loosing your name and be forced with the alternative of having to buy it back at a price! Here is a simple process of what you need to do.

Instead of doing a direct search into a domain registrar form, this is what you need to do:

Read and understand about the traits of a good domain name.

Research and brainstorm about your targeted market.

Come up with a list of names that are keyword rich or rhyme with your targeted market.

Visit either www.Verisign.com or www.betterwhois.com and do a search to find out what name or names are available.

From your list above, check out and find out which name is still available. Make a quick decision and settle on one.

Then run to one of the cheap domain name registrars and buy it right away.

If there is need, register other alternatives of your chosen name. They may be worthy down the line.

Domain Names For A Single Word World

How important is a domain name to your business?

Oh, it’s not especially important if you are expecting all your traffic to come from search engines and you have a site that has used Search Engine Optimization (SEO) effectively.

But what happens when you want to post a link and the full URL is listed? For some businesses that have chosen to operate their online business as a subdomain of an existing site service this URL can be especially long and may only refer to your business toward the end of the link.

If you can adapt your web address through html coding you can make your link say something like “Click here for the best in leather shoes”, however the website address is still problematic which is likely why you feel inclined to hide it under a link code.

This scenario can also be problematic if you want to advertise your website in off site advertising. For instance if you want to invite a radio audience to visit your site wouldn’t it be much better to say something like, “Visit us online at www.thestoreofchoice.com “ or do you have extra funds to pay for an advertisement that includes all the dashes and hyphens, domain and subdomain names that come with a poor domain name selection.

This same scenario is true when talking about print advertising. You would either have to have extremely small print or purchase a larger ad to accommodate the lengthy web address. Neither option seems especially appealing.

If you have promotional products like pens, key chains or Frisbees you may also find that it may not make much sense to try to include a web address that is longer than the Gettysburg Address. There’s always too much room for error when typing in long web addresses.

Most online sellers for domains can provide a very reasonable price for existing domains and you can direct your site to be found using the domain name you’ve chosen – even if you still choose to remain part of a subdomain setting.

Online domain name sellers can also provide alternate names if the one you selected is already in use. This means you might be able to keep the name you’ve chosen, but with a different end tag. For instance you might have a name in mind, but it is taken as a .com – you might find the same name available as a .net or .biz.

Review all your options before making your decision, but do try to keep your domain name short and easy to remember. This will aid in both online as well as offline marketing strategies.

Do you think Amazon.com would be as successful if their domain name was Amazonbooksellerstotheworldandyourhometoo.com? Maybe not. You see what they and other businesses have done is chosen a word that they then market as synonymous with their product. For instance Yahoo and Google are not words we may have recognized in the past, but they are now synonymous with search engines, Starbucks for coffee and Amazon for books.

When direct business names are used up in domain name options it may be time to look at a domain name that centers on a singular word in your company title – then begin promoting that word as identifiable with your business product.

Domain name transfer is done only when it is initiated by the new domain name registrar so, what you have to do is to just simply go to its website or call up the new registrar to initiate the domain name transfer of your business website. Some registrar websites have domain name transfer which allows automatic “domain transfer” for your website.
If, you are looking for proficient and economical website hosting service provider, you can log on to www.netearthone.com where you will find valuable services of domain name registration, domain name transfer, and secure web server to launch your website.

Turning Your Forum Signatures Into Cash

There are thousands and thousands of message boards on the internet. That’s a lot of potential people who may be interested in your products or services. It also serves as a quick and easy way to get a lot of links pointing back at your site and can help get your pages spidered faster by the search engines.

I use a free tool, Board Tracker (http://www.boardtracker.com/), to help monitor posts on over 25,000 forums.

You can set up a free account there and then set up alerts. You can set it to alert you to any posts containing any keyword or phrases you like. Some examples would be, your board nicknames, your domain names, affiliate programs you work with, or whatever else you’re interested in..

When someone makes a post and one of your alert keywords is found, you are emailed a link to the thread which you can follow and make a post. So as not to be a blatant board spammer, it is recommended that you register and make an introduction post on that board before responding to the thread. When responding, you should make your post helpful to the person in regards to answering any question they had without spamming your site/program, you are relying on your signature file here to draw their attention.

To make this task easier, I suggest utilizing Roboform (http://www.roboform.com/). Roboform makes it easy to handle all of your registering and logins.

Now, let’s find some forums in which we can participate. Everyone has some knowledge or interest in something. Perhaps it is cars, interior design or something else. Whatever it is, you can be certain there are forums for that particular niche.

You can use your favorite search engine and search for…
forums
“message board”

or specifically for…
car message boards
interior design message boards

or search by the different types of forum software like…
“powered by PHPBB”
“powered by vbulletin”

Before registering with any message boards I would suggest that you setup a yahoo or gmail account just for this purpose. It would also be a good idea to use this email for your boardtracker alerts as well.

Now you are ready to begin registering. I have created a new identity in Roboform to handle the registration for me. This includes my signature file as well. Before posting, make sure that you read the board rules so you are able to comply with those.

Once registered, make your introduction post. Basically you are just announcing your arrival and maybe saying a little something about yourself (roboform can do that too!), be sure to set your introduction thread to notify you of new posts so that you are able to respond as others welcome you.

Some things to keep in mind…

Who is your target audience and where will you find them? Are stay home moms likely to be found in Family & Parenting forums? Who is most likely to be participating at a car forum? A pet owners forum? etc..

Once you’ve located your target audience, target your signature to meet the needs of that audience. For example, if you were involved in a Family & Parenting forum, a signature aimed towards the mom who would like to earn money while being home for her children may be in order. If it were a Car or Electronics forum, maybe a signature promoting Free Satellite Dishes (these pay $50-$100 per install btw) would be more appropriate. The idea is to determine what the needs of any particular audience would be and finding a way to appeal to that.

Also, notice that the majority of forums offer a place for people to place advertising, usually under a category labeled something like, “opportunities”, “recommendations”, “spam allowed”, etc.. Look for these and make use of those as well. Each of those is a free targeted link to your site or product.

Make sure that you are paying attention to your anchor text. Anchor text, in case you don’t know, is the actual text that is linked. Choose good keywords for your anchor text that you would like to do well for in the search engines. Never link text such as “click here”.

The most important thing is to make this a part of your daily schedule. Do it each and every day and shortly you will have thousands of free advertising links all over the internet!

Disclaimer: I am in no way endorsing blatant spamming! The method I’ve outlined above is more of a suggestion for yet another avenue of free marketing that should be used in a responsible and productive manner which will benefit the board owners, other board members as well as yourself.
